There's something ironic about naming your company Summit. It usually signifies the end of a journey, or a destination. Summit Media Africa is definitely not the former but in many ways feels like it could be the latter.

Journey is an interesting word in media - 'customer journey' is a phrase we are all used to hearing, maybe almost become numb to. How best to take the customer with us either emotionally, physically or digitally. Brands are looking to take customers on journeys with them because it builds trust and affinity and...eventually...hopefully...leads to sales and direct engagement.
